FC Dallas has had a busy couple of weeks lately. They've played two games since their home opener, a 1-0 loss in New England to the Revolution and a 2-0 win against Nashville in Texas. Homegrown midfielder Brandon Servania signed a new contract, Alan Velasco made his debut in MLS, and Szabolcs Schon is set to travel to Europe to join Hungary for the upcoming international window. First up is a quick recap of the last two games.
FC Dallas vs New England Revolution-

FC Dallas played their first away game of the new season against the New England Revolution in Gillette Stadium. Unfortunately Dallas was unable to earn a point on the road. The lone goal came from Carles Gil, the MVP of last season, via penalty.

FC Dallas vs the Nashville-
FC Dallas returned home and made up for the loss with a 2-0 win. Franco Jara scored his first goal of 2022 after Dallas earned a penalty kick in the second half. Alan Velasco his debut and scored an impressive goal to kick off his MLS career.

Brandon Servania's New Contract-
Servania earned himself a new contract after assisting Velasco on his goal in the 2-0 victory. He is now under contract for Dallas for the next three years, with the 2025 season being an option year for the club. (https://www.fcdallas.com/news/fc-dallas-re-signs-homegrown-brandon-servania)
Servania has become a key starter in the season for Nico Estevez so far. He's paired up with Paxton Pomykal and with Edwin Cerrillo below them as a defensive midfielder, the three has formed a pretty promising homegrown midfield trio that could be with Dallas for a few years.

Szabolcs Schon Called Up to International Duty-
Schon was recently called up to the Hungarian National Team for two friendly matches. The first will be against Serbia in Hungary and the second against Northern Ireland in Northern Ireland. (https://www.fcdallas.com/news/fc-dallas-winger-szabolcs-schon-called-into-national-team-camp)
He has yet to make any appearances for Dallas this season.
Lastly Alan Velasco made his debut and made an immediate impact for Dallas. In addition to his goal, Velasco earned MLS Team of the Week honors and his goal won Goal of the Week.
