FC Dallas announced their changes on the current roster today. Out of the thirty-one on the roster, they will retain twenty-three players. The remaining seven players did not have their contract options picked up. Dallas' 3rd string goalkeeper, Kyle Zobeck, was on the last year of his contract ended with no options for the club to pick up, making him the eighth to leave. Thomas Roberts and Dante Sealy are under contract as well but they are currently in Europe on loan. Roberts is set to return in May, while Sealy will remain overseas for at least two years. Sealy's loan includes an option for PSV Eindhoven to keep him permanently should he impress them. Dallas did not disclose if Roberts' loan had a purchase option.

Dallas is set to have a busy offseason. They have not officially announced a new head coach yet, and with the roster decisions today, they are now thin at goalkeeper and will need to bring in reinforcements for other positions as well, left wing being the other role that's thin.
