Ben Dudley

Ben Dudley was born in Lebanon, TN, and after a year in Southern California, moved back to the Nashville area. As such, coupled with his support for soccer in Nashville since NPSL’s Nashville FC in 2014 through the two-year stint in USL Championship and into MLS, he is the Nashville SC correspondent for MLS Now podcast.

Ben grew up in an American football community, but fell in love with the beautiful game at age 8 when Manchester United was one of the few English teams that could be found on American television. Watching the skill of David Beckham as well as Ronaldinho and Zinedine Zidane, Ben knew he had found his sport. He played in middle school and high school, captaining his school team his senior year. After college, he became an English teacher due to his love of writing. Soon the opportunity to coach soccer at the high school level became available, and Ben took it; however, he was not prepared for that responsibility and wasn’t very successful.

He is a rabid supporter of Nashville SC and the USMNT, an avid reader, an aspiring singer-songwriter and decent musician, a husband to Channing, and father to two girls: Madelyn and Maya.
