A Midnight Rider Perspective...

Welcome to one section of the New England Revolution corner of the MLS Now Podcast website. I'm Chris Creighton, you'll notice my name in a few places on the #NERevs hashtag on Twitter and Facebook. I write for BelieveInBostonSports.com and I run a blog called Short Corners Long Prose with my Midnight Riders buddies Jeremy and Chris. Also, I tend to find some interesting rumors from time to time and share them on my twitter @CreightonC11.

But, here, I plan to write to my heart's desire on the organization, team, players etc. of the New England Revolution. I'm usually at most home games (when life as we know it allows). I've been with the team since '95 and will continue for the foreseeable future. I've also been a Midnight Rider since '95, I did let my membership lapse, but never left my crew I met there. I met my wife in the Midnight Riders tailgating area in the parking lot. We brought into the world a beautiful girl named Jett, who was the first third generation Rider to join the group. She is now nearing four years old and is diagnosed on the Autism spectrum. We have another child on the way, No, we didn't find out the gender (yes, I'm absolutely anxiety ridden on the outcome).

That being said, my life since I was 2-3 and I can remember has been soccer. I wake up early, go to bed late when the World Cup is on, most of the time, every game I can catch. I played from 3-27 years old and refereed from 9-27 years old. I'm absolutely here for anything soccer/futbol/football. I hope to bring you some of the excitement and feeling of being a Revs supporter. Hope to get something up on here weekly, no matter what is going on.
